News Quiz

Every week we watch a current event news program tailored to Kentucky. They often have a question they ask students to answer. A couple of weeks ago the topic was what is your favorite movie and why. We e-mailed a responses from a few people and much to our surprise the program chose one for their show. Adam Nortmann wrote about his favorite movie. If you would like to view the program, you could go to ket.org and click tv schedules at the top. A calendar should appear. Choose October 15th and then scroll down to the 2:00 time. Click on News Quiz view online. We usually respond to the question with a couple of e-mails. Who knows they may choose us again.

Importand Dates

We have lots of things coming up in the fourth grade! Thursday, October 22nd we will head to Children's Theatre. I think Beauty and the Beast may be playing. The first quarter also ends on Tuesday.
Friday is Parent Teacher Conference Day. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone.
Grandparents' Day is Oct. 29th.
Halloween party is Oct. 30th.
Mrs. Rice from 4-H will come November 3rd.
Our book sale will be November 10th. We're now accepting any used books for the sale.
